A trend & audience-discovery platform that surfaces fast-growing market trends, profiles the real buyer behind each, and pinpoints the online communities where that audience gathers.

The problem

Trend tools give hype, not action — they don't say who the buyer is or where to reach them, and their growth numbers are often invented. The client needed validated trends paired with real audience and distribution intelligence.

Approach

I architected an agentic research pipeline behind a Next.js app. Every trend passes a validation gate against real keyword-volume data before it can publish, and no growth figure is ever invented — each one traces back to a data source. Built end-to-end with Claude Code.

What I built

• Multi-stage AI pipeline: validation gate → keyword data → fully-cited buyer and market research → community discovery
• Community-discovery engine across Reddit, Facebook groups, and forums with LLM scoring and ranking
• Admin review queue with click-to-edit, publish/unpublish, and source-evidence panels; published pages go live in minutes via ISR
• Membership accounts and an entitlement-gated paid AI chat assistant (RAG via an n8n workflow)
• Lead capture with GoHighLevel lifecycle emails and a daily top-trends push
• Cost-instrumented LLM usage with per-stage model routing to control spend

Result

Delivered a feature-complete, production-shaped platform combining an agentic research pipeline, a members' app, and a paid RAG assistant — with a hard rule that every published number traces to real data.
